• Add config/colorterms.py: color terms to convert PS-1, HSC, or SDSS magnitudes to DECam ones.

  • Color terms are derived using the Pickles stellar atlas. The color ranges are listed in the file. I also link the Jupyter notebook that produces these values.
  • Color terms for DECam broad-band u and Y, and narrow-band N964 and N419 are currently not available.
  • Please help check the filter names are correct. The physical names of the filters are the much longer full names used by CTIO.

• Add config/extinctionCoeffs.py: extinction coefficients for DECam filters.

  • The coefficients for DECam narrow-band N964 and N419 filters are currently not available.

• Add config/colorAnalysis.py:

  • This file is adopted from obs_subaru.

• Add config/calibrate.py: adjust the file to use color terms for photometric calibration.

  • The color limits and magnitude limits are adopted from obs_subaru without modification.

There are a few other configuration files in obs_subaru/config that are not present in obs_decam. These files are named in colorterms.py. Right now I am not sure they are necessary.
